AfPIF Workshops: Building Sustainable and High-Performance Internet Exchange Points in Africa

 

DE-CIX, the Internet Society, and the Digital Investment Facility (DIF <https://d4dhub.eu/data-governance-in-africa-digital-investment-facility> ) are co-hosting a dynamic session focused on how trusted digital infrastructure—particularly Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) and data centres—can accelerate Africa’s digital transformation.

 

This interactive workshop will offer:

 

•           Strategic insights into sustainable infrastructure development

•           Business-case deep dives

•           A group activity exploring how peering and local infrastructure can lower costs, create local value, and strengthen regional internet ecosystems
